56th Anniversary Fall Dinner
MSUB Chancellor Stefani Hicsaw, Ph.D.

Dr. Hicswa became Montana State University Billings’ chancellor in January 2021. She is the first woman chancellor since the university’s founding in 1927. Dr. Hicswa served as president of Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming from 2013-2021. Under her leadership, Northwest College achieved the highest completion rate in its history, and launched a comprehensive strategic visioning, enrollment management, and facilities master plans. Prior to Northwest College, Hicswa served as president of Miles Community College in Miles City, Montana for seven years.

A first-generation college student, Hicswa holds a doctorate in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin; a master’s degree in adult, community, and higher education from Montana State University; and a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Montana. She was raised in Dillon, Montana, and is married to Scott Hicswa, a consulting forester. They have two teenage sons.

This event includes a dinner, a chance to hear the stories of students and meet with them, and a
silent and live auction to support UCM’s ministry. Tickets are $50. Tickets purchased so students can attend the dinner is $50. Churches can purchase a table for $400 for up to six people, $500 for 8 people.
